University of Illinois Springfield golfer Abby Vorreyer scored a hole-in-one on the 150-yard, No. 14 hole at The Links and shot a school-record 75 en route to a runner-up finish at Illinois College Invitational Sunday.
Vorreyer finished eight strokes behind medalist Jada Bennington (William Woods), who also had a hole-in-one Sunday. Vorreyer carded a 12-over-par 156.
The Stars’ Paige Luker tied for fifth with a 161, and Caitlin Osborn took 10th with a 163.
