Second-half goals in a span of 12 minutes by Zach Allevi, Dylan Stockman and Jack Coombes lifted the University of Illinois Springfield to a 4-1 win against Saint Joseph’s in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match Friday at Kiwanis Stadium.
The Prairie Stars have a 3-1 conference record and a 3-3 overall mark.
Mario Falsone scored the sole goal in the first half and UIS led 1-0.
Allevi led UIS with five shots. Teammate Naba Alzhyri had four attempts. UIS goalkeeper Tommy Geile made three saves.
