Alumni from all three University of Illinois campuses will be traveling to the State Capitol Wednesday to meet with legislators for U of I Alumni Day.
This annual event brings alumni from the Urbana-Champaign, Chicago and Springfield campuses together to deliver a message on behalf of the University. Alumni will be meeting with their elected representatives to encourage funding support for the University and higher education in general.
U of I President Tim Killeen will also be joining the alumni and says he is great to alumni for sharing their experiences with lawmakers to help the University.
