University of Illinois Springfield junior Talon Supak was among the 10 golfers on the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference men’s team released Tuesday.
Supak was a coaches’ choice. He was medalist at the NCAA Division II Super Regional in Allendale, Michigan last week. He will compete in the national championships Tuesday through May 21 at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver, Colorado. Supak is a two-time all-conference pick.
UIS senior Kent Gregory is one of 14 James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honorees. The honorees are eligible to become one of their school’s two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners.
