University of Illinois Springfield sophomore tennis player Jane Carter has received Great Lakes Valley Conference first team honors for the second consecutive season.
The New Zealand native is the Prairie Stars’ No. 1 singles player. She had a 16-8 singles record, breaking her single-season mark of 14 wins last season. Her doubles record was 13-2. She won eight of nine matches at one point during the season.
